HDX4 - The Player
Our HDX4 Player is based on the capable and generally compatible
HDX4-Decoder and among others enables you to play MPEG-4-compatible videos (DivX, Xvid, etc.) and a large number of other audio- and video formats. Furthermore, the software package expands your whole Windows-system to include the support of various container formats like MP4 and 3GP and allows the unproblematic replay of unusual video/sound-combinations with sound formats AAC, AMR, MP2 and Ogg Vorbis - including other DirectShow-compatible players like Microsoft’s Windows Media

HDX4 - The Codec
Our HDX4 Video Codecs are based on MPEG1, MPEG2 and MPEG4 Advanced Simple Profile, Flash, h.263 & h.264. They allow videos to be encoded for many devices, including (but not exclusively) DVD-players, numerous portable Multimedia players of producers such as Archos and Creative, and video game consoles like Xbox 360, Playstation 3, Playstation Portable and Nintendos Wii. Our codecs, which in many tests have proven to be among the fastest, are now being used by various providers as basis for their own products, e.g. software converters and hardware chips. Being part of our conversion suite HDX4 Movie Creator and of the HDX4 player, the codec is not available separately.
