HDX4 Media Player
Like developers of converter programs, those developing modern software players have to grapple with a large number of different audio-, video- and file formats. A simple application that only concentrates on the ‚main standards’ MP3 and AVI, is hardly destined to succeed. It is therefore a must for a good programmer to support as many standards as possible with new player software.
HDX4 Media Player SDK assists you with the creation of respective programs and it goes without saying that it doesn’t have to be mere software players. Other applications too, e.g. conversion programs, web players and embedded auxiliary applications must be able to play different audio- and video formats.
SDK functions cover the complete control of an audio/video stream (play, break, stop, repeat, random access) as well as different kinds of regulation: slow play, fast play, loudness, mute, position and image capture.
Via Microsoft DirectShow Framework all system-installed audio- and video formats as well as all HDX4 video codecs like MPEG-1, MPEG-2, MPEG-4 ASP (H.263), MPEG-4 AVC (H.264), Flash Video, MJPEG and WMV are supported. Recognized and accepted file formats are ASF, AVI, DIVX, MPG, MP4, 3GP, FLV, WMV, DAT (Video-CD) and VOB (DVD-Video). Among the usually supported audio formats are the well-known and widespread MP3 and AAC, WAV, WMA and Ogg Vorbis. Included are the audio codecs anchored in the DirectShow-System.
